Gadhafi snubs Abu Mazen

Libyan dictator Muamar Gadhafi refused to meet with 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen during a visit by Abu Mazen to Tripoli this week, despite an explicit request from Abu Mazen for such a meeting.

Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi avoided meeting Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas while the latter was visiting Tripoli despite his explicit requests, the London-based Al-Quds Al-Arabi reported.

The report says Abbas met with other Libyan officials in an attempt to reach a decision on the Palestinian delegation to an Arab summit, which has been scheduled to take place in the country at the end of April. The meeting ended without a resolution after Abbas refused to include Hamas officials in his party.
