8 Israeli Defense Manufacturers at the Singapore Air show

The Singapore Air Show, Asia's biggest exhibition of air, space and security, starts Tuesday. Eight companies are represented in the 800-square-meter Israeli pavillion organized by the Export Foundation. They will be displaying missiles, anti-missile systems, intelligence systems, radar, pilotless aircraft, night-vision devices, and upgrading aircraft, among other things.

Director-General Avi Chefetz of the foundation says that Israel signed 7.3 billion dollars worth of contracts in the aerospace and defense fields in 2009. The estimated forecast for the entire industry in 2010 is 750 billion dollars.
