French sources are reporting that US Middle East envoy George Mitchell is headed for our region without the guarantees of the outcome of Israeli - 'Palestinian' negotiations demanded by 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President The US special envoy to the Middle East, George Mitchell, is scheduled to arrive for a visit to the region without a letter desired by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who asked the US to provide guarantees for the negotiations with Israel.
French sources told the London-based Al-Sharq Al-Awsat that Mitchell ahs not revealed a timetable for talks during his visit to Paris and Brussels.
I guess it's going to be much tougher to handle the Senate once the Democrats lose that filibuster. Heh.
