Israel Matzav: Video: Explosion in Hezbullah ammo dump in Lebanon

Video: Explosion in Hezbullah ammo dump in Lebanon

You may recall that Monday night I reported that there was an explosion in a Hezbullah ammunition dump private home in a village near Tyre in southern Lebanon. Five people were killed.

A few minutes after the explosion, the IAF got an aerial video of the scene.

The video shows Hezbullah closing off the area, driving in 2 trucks and removing items which appear to be different types of rockets and other weaponry. They then drove the trucks to a village 4 km away, and to a building which is a known Hezbullah weapons storehouse.

Only after Hezbullah had cleaned out the explosion site did they allow UNIFIL and the Lebanese army to go in.

The IDF gave UNIFIL the video to help them investigate the matter.

You may recall that there was a similar explosion in a Hezbullah warehouse on July 15.

Obviously, this is a blatant violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which ended the Second Lebanon War in 2006, but rumor has it that there are hundreds of ammunition dumps like this one in homes throughout southern Lebanon.

Let's go to the videotape.
