This is the anniversary of the Iranian Islamist revolution 31 years ago. Usually, one way it is commemorated it by Iranin television showing film of the shah's soldiers firing on demonstrators back in 1978 and early 1979. This year, however, that footage is not being aired. Why not? It might remind people of the Islamist regime firing on demonstrators in 2009 and early 2010.
