Global warming coming to Jerusalem?
I can tell you that right now, it's raining, windy and in the low '40's. The temperatures are going to have to drop a bit for this to happen.
The Jerusalem Municipality says it has completed its operational preparations for the snow expected to fall in the capital on Thursday.
55 snowplows, salt sprinklers and tractors are currently making their way to neighborhood emergency centers throughout the city. The municipality reported that its emergency department will be open Wednesday night as will its 106 hotline.
Wednesday night a decision will be made regarding the closing of schools in the capital on Thursday. An announcement will be published in the media prior to 06:00 AM.
Heh.
