'Palestinian' whistle blower Fahmi Shebaneh has threatened his former boss that he will expose more corruption in the 'Palestinian Authority' unless Abu Bluff appoints an independent commission of inquiry. Former Palestinian General Intelligence Service chief Fahmi Shabana, who exposed the sex scandal and corruption within the high echelons of the Palestinian Authority, said to Ynet that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's decision to suspend his office manager Rafik al-Husseini, who is implicated in the affair, is a step in the right direction.
However, he noted that the suspension and the commission of inquiry are not enough. "I expect the commission to be neutral and independent. However, one of its members, Fatah Central Committee member Azzam al-Ahmad, is suspected of embezzeling $2 million together with his brother." Shabana added that he is awaiting the PA's response to his claims, according to which he will publish more findings on the issue.
