Israel Matzav: Two soldiers who made sign expelled from hesder

Two soldiers who made sign expelled from hesder

Two IDF soldiers who made a sign saying that their brigade would not expel Jews from their homes have been expelled from the Hesder program that combines army service with yeshiva studies.

Two soldiers of the Nahshon Battalion who were involved in raising a sign against using IDF soldiers to expel civilians from their homes have been thrown out of the Hesder program which combines IDF service with yeshiva studies in a five year program. The two will be required to do full military service of three years.

The harsh sentence came as a surprise as this is the first time ever that soldiers have been thrown out of the Hesder program. The two soldiers were involved in holding a banner which read "The Nahshon Battalion also does not expel Jews".

Unless they decide to go to yeshiva full time. Then the army can't draft them at all.

That's what I would do in their situation.
