Iran's largest trading partner
As I have noted before, the biggest problem in stopping Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons is not Russia or China. It's Europe.The Wall Street Journal has a lengthy review of the many business connections between Italy and Iran. Italy is Iran's largest trading partner and has provided Iran with many 'dual use' technologies.
The Journal notes that Italian President Silvio Berlusconi is scheduled to address the Knesset next month. Perhaps someone will suggest to him that Italy ought to join the boycott against Iran.
