The minister for the economy, Manuel Pinho, was sacked (actually; convinced to resign) by his boss, P.M. Socrates, after being spotted making a gesture (photo above) at a member of the comunist opposition.The surreal about this situation is that mr. Pinho wasn't sacked because he was a bad minister ( he really was one, as all his fellow ministers are) but because he made that inconsiderated gesture.
