The minister for the economy, Manuel Pinho, was sacked (actually; convinced to resign) by his boss, P.M. Socrates, after being spotted making a gesture (photo above) at a member of the comunist opposition.
The surreal about this situation is that mr. Pinho wasn't sacked because he was a bad minister ( he really was one, as all his fellow ministers are) but because he made that inconsiderated gesture.
Really Mr. Prime Minister Socrates, as elections are aproaching you are loosing the grip and leaving behind your dream of a majority.
